HOW MANY TIMES A WEEK DO YOU WEAR AFRICAN PRINT?

Once? Twice?... a month? African print dresses normally command huge engagement on social media with their bold colours and patterns. These african print designs are synonymous with our incredibly diverse and amazing culture, full of rich traditions and heritage. But then why is it that our wear in the majority of our environments are so heavily characterised by 'traditional western' attire? Job interviews, business meetings, school uniforms, even the uncles at lobolo negotiations... Our traditional african attire seems largely reserved for Heritage Day and special occasions. Enough is enough! We aim to normalise African inspired wear into our EVERYDAY wear.

Shwebygugu

We endevour to provide the latest modern design shweshwe dresses, african traditional dresses and attire items to your doorstep. More traditional dresses are coming soon. To that end, our promise is service excellence with every interaction. All our garments are locally crafted and adapted for the local South African women; relatively shorter and curvier than our international counterparts. We do all of this to prove South Africa’s and Africa's talents, heritage and global competitiveness.
